Declaración de imparcialidad

La Dirección de GCM Global Certification Mexico («GCM Global»), oficina OSP en México de GCL International Ltd, declara su compromiso con la imparcialidad en todas las actividades de certificación que realiza en México, en congruencia con las políticas de GCL International y con los requisitos de la norma ISO/IEC 17021-1 para organismos que auditan y certifican sistemas de gestión.

Nuestros compromisos

1. Decisiones objetivas. Las decisiones de certificación se basan únicamente en la evidencia objetiva obtenida en las auditorías. Ningún interés comercial, financiero o de otro tipo puede influir en ellas.
2. Sin consultoría. Ni GCM Global ni GCL International ofrecen servicios de consultoría para diseñar, implementar o mantener sistemas de gestión, ni realizan auditorías internas a sus clientes certificados. Tampoco recomendamos ni promovemos consultoras, ni permitimos que una consultora presente nuestra certificación como parte de su servicio.
3. Separación de funciones. La persona que toma la decisión de certificación es distinta de quienes realizaron la auditoría.
4. Gestión de conflictos de interés. Todo el personal y los auditores firman una declaración de confidencialidad e imparcialidad, y deben informar cualquier relación con una organización. No asignamos a una auditoría a quien haya trabajado para la organización o le haya dado consultoría en los últimos dos años, ni a quien tenga cualquier otro vínculo que pueda comprometer su objetividad.
5. Análisis de riesgos. Identificamos, analizamos y documentamos de manera continua los riesgos a la imparcialidad derivados de nuestras actividades, relaciones y personal, y tomamos medidas para eliminarlos o reducirlos al mínimo.
6. Independencia financiera. Nuestros ingresos no dependen del resultado de una auditoría. Los honorarios se acuerdan antes del servicio y no están condicionados a otorgar la certificación.
7. Supervisión independiente. GCL International cuenta con un mecanismo para salvaguardar la imparcialidad, con la participación de partes interesadas, que revisa periódicamente las políticas y decisiones del organismo de certificación y de sus oficinas.
8. Confidencialidad. La información obtenida durante la certificación se trata de forma confidencial, salvo la información pública sobre certificados o lo que exija la ley.
9. Trato equitativo. Ofrecemos nuestros servicios a cualquier organización que los solicite dentro de nuestro alcance, sin condiciones financieras o de otro tipo que resulten indebidas, y sin depender del tamaño de la organización ni de su pertenencia a alguna asociación o grupo.

Si percibe un riesgo a la imparcialidad

Cualquier cliente, auditor o parte interesada que identifique una situación que pueda afectar la imparcialidad de nuestros servicios puede informarlo a contacto@gcl-mexico.com con el asunto «Imparcialidad». Toda comunicación se atiende de manera confidencial y se analiza conforme al proceso de quejas y apelaciones de GCL International.

The Management of GCM Global Certification Mexico ("GCM Global"), the OSP office of GCL International Ltd in Mexico, declares its commitment to impartiality in all certification activities it carries out in Mexico, consistent with GCL International's policies and with the requirements of ISO/IEC 17021-1 for bodies providing audit and certification of management systems.

Our commitments

1. Objective decisions. Certification decisions are based solely on the objective evidence obtained during audits. No commercial, financial or other interest may influence them.
2. No consultancy. Neither GCM Global nor GCL International provides consultancy to design, implement or maintain management systems, nor do they conduct internal audits for their certified clients. We do not recommend or promote consultancies, nor do we allow a consultancy to present our certification as part of its service.
3. Separation of functions. The person who makes the certification decision is different from those who carried out the audit.
4. Management of conflicts of interest. All staff and auditors sign a confidentiality and impartiality declaration and must disclose any relationship with an organization. We do not assign to an audit anyone who has worked for the organization or provided it with consultancy in the last two years, or who has any other link that could compromise their objectivity.
5. Risk analysis. We continually identify, analyze and document the risks to impartiality arising from our activities, relationships and personnel, and take action to eliminate or minimize them.
6. Financial independence. Our income does not depend on the outcome of an audit. Fees are agreed before the service and are not conditional on granting certification.
7. Independent oversight. GCL International has a mechanism for safeguarding impartiality, with the participation of interested parties, which periodically reviews the policies and decisions of the certification body and its offices.
8. Confidentiality. Information obtained during certification is treated as confidential, except for public information about certificates or as required by law.
9. Fair treatment. We offer our services to any organization that requests them within our scope, without undue financial or other conditions, and regardless of the organization's size or membership of any association or group.

If you perceive a risk to impartiality

Any client, auditor or interested party who identifies a situation that could affect the impartiality of our services can report it to contacto@gcl-mexico.com with the subject "Impartiality". All communications are handled confidentially and analyzed under GCL International's complaints and appeals process.
